Fifteen people were tested COVID-19 positive in Guwahati on May 13. With this, the number of cases in Assam moved up to 79 while 37 of them are active cases.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on May 13 informed that 15 people were tested positive from Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar area. He said that all these cases were related to the patient from Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar, who tested positive recently.
Sarma further said that all are under quarantine and asked the public not to panic.
“15 persons are tested #COVID19 + in Kamrup Metro. All are related to patient from Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar, who tested + recently. All under quarantine and please don’t panic,” he tweeted.
