20 new COVID-19 cases in Assam take total tally to 378

Twenty new COVID-19 cases were detected in Assam in the evening on May 24, taking the total state tally to 378 cases.

The new cases were reported from Nalbari (6), Kamrup (5), Hojai (4), Kamrup Metro (2), Nagaon (2) and Morigaon (1).

With these, the number of active cases in the state went up to 314.

As many as 57 patients recovered from the disease in the state while 4 others succumbed to COVID-19 related complications.
