Leading direct selling FMCG company Amway India, as a thanksgiving gesture to the environment, inspired employees across locations to plant a sapling. The initiative saw around 500 saplings planted by the employees of the company across the country.

Over 400 employees of Amway India participated in the activity which was conducted at Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Madurai, among other places. All the saplings have been planted at respective Amway locations.
Speaking on the occasion, chief human resource officer at Amway India, Shantanu Das said, “We believe that the proper use and management of the earth’s resources are the responsibilities of industry and individuals alike. After all, alone we can do so little – together, we can do so much. The aim of this activity is to drive awareness about the importance of sustaining and nurturing the environment amongst our colleagues.”
