Gadkari declares new national highways in Assam

Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari on January 29 declared conversation of several national highways spreading across Assam. This includes roads connecting Bhutan border and Assam-Arunachal border in Bordumsa.
The Union minister, while inaugurating the second Saraighat bridge in Guwahati, said that the Narendra Modi-led central government is pledged to develop waterways in the state and tap the vast resources of river Brahmaputra.
