“Most of the jobs (at the Barsapara stadium) have been done. There are certain areas which needed to be re-worked which we have already pointed out to the ACA officials. I hope it will be completed within the next three months,” Choudhury told reporters.

The Rs 260-crore Barsapara stadium has already hosted at least 17 Ranji Trophy matches since 2013-14. The stadium, with modern technologies, is being regarded as one of the best in the country. The media tribune, with reported capacity of around 250, is touted as the largest in the country. The place also boosts of state-of-the-art broadcast centre.
