The NorthEast United FC managed to retain the core of the team at the drafts held on Sunday, heading in to the next season of the Indian Super League.

Till the 10th round of the drafts, the Guwahati-based side locked the services of Halicharan Narzary, Nirmal Chhetri, Seiminlen Doungel, Reagan Singh, besides welcoming Lalrindika Ralte, Robert Lalthlamuana, Ravi Kumar and Gursimrat Gill into the team.

Noted NorthEast United FC player Robin Gurung went to the Jamshedpur team while Satyasen Singh was taken by the Delhi Dynamos. Goalkeeper Subrata Pal was also taken by the Jamshedpur team.

The Highlanders already retained the services of Rehenesh TP and Rowllin Borges before the player drafts held on Sunday.

Interestingly, FC Pune City signed Emiliano Alfaro who was the top scorer for the Highlanders last season. The Guwahati side hasn’t announced any foreign signings yet.
