Durga Puja festivities have already begun. Guwahati’s popular Bengali restaurant, 6 Ballygunge Place, has decked up to the festive atmosphere with special festive menu for the foodies.

The special festival buffet menu – from Shasti to Dashami – is a unique and mouth-watering combination of Bengali dishes, a must-have this festive season.

Announcing the puja special buffet on Thursday, chef Sushanta Sengupta said, “Durga Puja for the eastern region of India is one of the biggest festivals. Eating out and meeting friends and families over a meal are customary. A lot of thought has gone behind planning the menu, to make all puja meals a memory to cherish.”

The unique thing about the festive menu is that it will change every day from Shasti to Dashami.

The restaurant informed that it will continue to serve its signature dishes – both vegetarian and non vegetarian – during these days. “Our food and service has become a byword in the hospitality industry and we are happy to bring the 6 Ballygunge Place brand to Guwahati. That people here have loved us in matter of great pride,” co-owner S Ramani said.

Some of the dishes which will be available this puja are Gondhoraj Ghol, Hinger Kachori, Phulkopir Dalna, Chitol Macher Muitha, Aamshotto Sandesh, etc., along with many other mouth-watering sweet dishes to complete one’s pandal hopping.
