With this payment, Assam government has received a total of Rs 145.31 crore from NRL as interim dividend for the financial year 2017-18. The interim dividend has been worked out on the basis of performance of the PSU company during the first nine months of the current financial year 2017-18.

The chief minister said that this amount received from NRL reflects the robust performance of the company and the company is setting a good example in contributing to the state’s economy.  He also hoped that NRL would continue to perform well through the dedication and hard-work of its employees in the coming days as well.
