Punjabi heartthrob Diljit Dosanjh is set to rock the stage and rule the hearts of Delhiites as he is set to join as a figure at Madame Tussauds Delhi.

Dosanjh’s figure will be placed in the music zone at Madame Tussauds Delhi. It will allow fans to sing, pose, groove, interact and capture exciting moments with the singing and acting sensation.

“Known for setting trends and topping the charts, Diljit Dosanjh is a star rooted in tradition and a sparkling personality which has garnered him with millions of followers across social media. His impactful work as a singer and actor of both Punjabi and Hindi cinema has garnered him international fame and is considered one of the youngest all-rounders of the industry,” an official release stated.

Dosanjh won several national and international awards such as Filmfare, IIFA, Brit Asia TV Music etc. As a passionate social media enthusiast and influencer, Dosanjh has bagged the coveted Dada Saheb Phalke award for most trending personality of the year 2018.

The team of Madame Tussauds artists met Diljit Dosanjh in Mumbai for the sitting for his wax figure, where they took over 200 specific measurements, photographs to create an authentic likeness.

Diljit Dosanjh said, “I am immensely honoured to be chosen as one of the next figures to be included within Madame Tussauds Delhi. The sitting experience was profoundly overwhelming in the presence of the extraordinarily talented team of Madame Tussauds experts.”

Visitors and fans will be able to pose with the iconic Punjabi sensation in a fantastic setting in our music zone.”

Madame Tussauds Delhi is a famous wax attraction that opened in the outer circle of Connaught Place, New Delhi. With a grand launch in December, the attraction opened its door for families to walk the red carpet and interact with their favourite celebrities and icons.
