Theatres in Guwahati will run house full shows of superhero film Avengers: Endgame for at least first few days of the film’s release on April 26 as cine goers pre-booked the entire shows of the Marvel Studios film on April 21 itself.

Pre-booking tickets for the film, based on Marvel Comics superhero team of the Avengers, were made available on Sunday across India.

Various reports said that the tickets sold out within hours as the cine goers are awaiting the biggest film of the Avengers series. In Guwahati, tickets for the 3D English version of the film are not available till May 29. However, additional screenings are expected to be added to keep up with the demand.

Shortly after being made available on online ticketing platforms such as BookMyShow and PayTM, fans reported that tickets for the hotly anticipated Marvel movie were sold out in major metropolitan cities such as Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore.

Speaking to The News Mill, a Guwahati-based theatre manager said that they are house full till at least next Monday, if more shows are not added. “We are hopeful that we can accommodate more shows for the fans. The response is very good,” he said.

While many could not book the tickets for the ‘first-day first-show’, fans took to the social media to either boast about having booked the tickets or express their disappointment at having missed out.
