Isn’t it painful to undergo your medical tests all over again as you failed to maintain a complete record of your test results? Guwahati-based healthtech startup, Oxyfind, is working on solutions to help people manage their health profile digitally.
With India’s growing population, healthcare is witnessing rapid strides. Oxyfind is using technology to compile a patient’s health portfolio through the use of advanced applications and provide them in a simpler format that can be very beneficial during a medical emergency.
The healthtech startup has already digitalized 36 clinics in Guwahati, Jorhat and Cachar thereby digitalizing 200+ patient records. “Within two months of our clinic application release, we have empanelled 36 clinics in Assam. We are getting demo requests from Noida, Allahabad, Ghaziabad, Shillong, Indore, Rajkot and many other places,” said Nabajyoti Das, cofounder and CEO at Oxyfind.
The bootstrapped startup plans to use Artificial Intelligence to boost their profiling structure and help patients and doctors in medical emergencies.
“Our goal is to digitally organize health records of a person and create their full health profile. We are on a mission of implementing AI on the patient data. By this, the data will be more beneficial to the medical practitioners as well as in case of an emergency, the medical history of the patient will be readily available,” Das added.
Started by Nabajyoti Das along with Pankaj Mazumder (COO) and Bapan Biswas (CTO), the healthtech startup plans to digitalize data of at least 20,000 patients from a minimum of 700 clinics by the end of 2019-20 financial year. “By the same time, we will also release the diagnostic management application. We are growing faster than expected. We are in excited with the developments. By the end of 2021, we should be able to manage a minimum of 1 million patient records,” said Pankaj Mazumdar, COO at Oxyfind.
The team at Oxyfind is now working on the diagnostic lab and pharmacy applications. They aim to integrate the three applications and provide the data under one Oxyfind ID which will help patients see their complete medical history with the same ID.
When quizzed about the security of the data, CTO at Oxyfind, Bapan Biswas, said that they encrypt the patient data thereby ensuring complete security and privacy of the medical records. “We use 128 Bit, TLS 1.3 encryption between the client and server. All the communications happening between client and servers are fully encrypted. Moreover our application and data are kept at completely different servers for higher security and privacy purposes,” Biswas added.
Speaking about their target market, Oxyfind said that they want to focus on clinics before they make a move to the larger hospitals. “We will roll out our application for the hospitals later,” they said.
