Sikkim Chief Minister PS Goley speaking at a programme organised by Denzong Sherpa Association at Chemchey Himalayan Eco Tourism Centre, South Sikkim, assured equal rights and opportunities to Sherpas and all other communities in the Northeast state.

The chief minister also stressed on communal harmony.

“Present cabinet represents persons from Sherpa and other sections of the society,” said Goley referring to representation from Sikkimese society in his cabinet.

The chief minister accompanied by his cabinet colleagues, thanked the Sherpas for mandate this election. He advised the youths to make themselves employable and take advantage of related opportunities.
