All international flights to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati as well as a number of domestic flights to Assam have been cancelled for the next week in view of the global Coronavirus scare.

Druk Airways has cancelled its international flight from Paro and Singapore, via Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at Guwahati, from March 21 till March 29 next, an Airport Authority of India spokesperson said in Guwahati on March 21.

These were the only international flights currently operational in the state.

On the domestic route, SpiceJet has suspended all four of its flights to Assam from March 24 to March 30.

The flights cancelled are SG 3745/3748, SG 3319/3319, both Kolkata-Dibrugarh-Guwahati, and SG 3747/3746 and SG 3320/3320, both Guwahati-Dibrugarh-Kolkata.

No other flight has been cancelled to the state so far, the spokesperson added.
