Pubs, salons, museums closed in Assam

After closing down educational institutions, gyms and parks, all bars, pubs, salons, museums and libraries have now been shut down by the Assam government as a precautionary measure against Coronavirus.

All museums, libraries, coaching centres, beauty parlours and barbershops will remain closed till March 31.

All bars, pubs and night clubs have also been ordered to remain closed till March 31.

Earlier, all educational institutions, swimming pools, parks and gyms have been closed in the state.

The entry of visitors to the state secretariat has been banned, and use of biometric attendance system also suspended in the state for the time being.

All national parks and wildlife sanctuaries have also been closed for visitors in the state.

Though no positive case of Coronavirus has been reported in the state so far, the state government has been adopting precautionary measures to ensure no outbreak of the infection.
