A total of 207 samples have been collected so far for suspected COVID-19 laboratory testing in Arunachal Pradesh.

According to a bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services on April 9, of the 207 samples, 185 tested negatives, one positive and 20 other results are awaited.

As per the data, the highest number of samples – 107 samples – was collected from Itanagar Capital Complex till April 9 while no tests were done in at least 13 districts in the state.

Out of the 107 samples tested in Itanagar Capital Complex, 101 came negative while the results of six are yet to come.

Number of tests in second-placed Namsai is 47 with 35 of them testing negative while the results of 12 tests are awaited.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pema Khandu has expressed gratitude to those who have contributed in Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. “My gratitude to all those persons who have contributed in Chief Minister’s Relief Fund towards our battle against #COVID19. So far we have received a sum of Rs 12,83,71,239 (roughly Rs 12.83 crore),” Khandu wrote in a social media post.
