8 more patients recover from COVID-19 in Assam

Eight patients, who were found COVID-19 positive in Assam, will be released on April 26 as they recovered from the disease.

Out of 35 positive cases in Assam only 7 cases are still positive while one patient died of COVID-19 related complications in the state.

On April 26, Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that with this, the number of recovered patients in the state climbed to 27. “Now only 7 patients are positive in the state. Although, the first patient is still positive after repeated tests,” he said.

Among the 8 new recovered cases, 4 patients are each from Golaghat Civil Hospital and MMCH in Guwahati.

Sarma added that by April 30, a few more patients will be released in the state.
