17 new COVID-19 cases in Tripura

Seventeen persons were found COVID-19 positive in Tripura on May 9, taking the total number of cases in the state to 135.

Chief Minister Bipla Kumar Deb on May 9 evening informed that the new cases were detected from 86th Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Ambassa.

“17 persons found #COVID19 positive in Tripura today from 86th-Bn #BSF, Ambassa. No Civilian found POSITIVE among them,” the chief minister tweeted.
