A Nagaland-bound special train, carrying over 1,300 stranded people from the Northeast states, from Gurgaon was mobbed by people at Danapur railway station in Bihar on May 24.

The people, reportedly migrant workers, at Danapur railway station pelted stones and broke the windowpanes of the train and forcefully entered inside the special train.

The passengers onboard fought back with the people and asked them to de-board the train as it was meant only to transport stranded people from the Northeast states.

It was unclear if any of the passengers were injured in the incident.

The special train had halted at various railways stations despite the special train has been directed to stop only at certain railway stations in the Northeast states so that passengers can de-board the train.
