Arunachal COVID-19 tally rises to 49

Arunachal Pradesh reported two new cases of COVID-19 on June 6, taking the state’s tally to 49.

Out of 49 cases reported so far in the state, active cases stand at 48 while one recovered.

According to a bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services on June 6 evening, the two new cases were detected from quarantine facility and shifted to COVID Care Centre.

The two new detected positive cases were reported from Changlang and East Siang districts, it said.

As per the bulletin, a total of 11,261 samples have been collected so far in the state for COVID-19 testing, out of which 9,250 tested negative while results of 1841 are awaited.
