Arunachal COVID-19 tally rises to 57

Arunachal Pradesh reported six new cases of COVID-19 on June 8, taking the total tally in the state to 57 cases.

“Six new cases of COVID-19 today,” Directorate of Health Services tweeted.

With the detection of these cases, total number of active cases stand at 56 in the state. The first COVID-19 patient in Arunachal Pradesh was released from the hospital on April 17 after he recovered from the disease.

As per the Directorate of Health Services on June 8, the new cases are returnees from outside the state and detected from quarantine facility. All shifted to COVID Care Centres.

Of six new cases, three are from Changlang and one each from East Siang, Lower Dibang Valley and Tirap districts.
