COVID-19 cases reach 132 in Manipur

Eight new COVID-19 cases were detected in Manipur on June 5. The newly tested positive patients at RIMS took the overall tally of COVID-19 patients in the state to 132.

Of these, 91 are active while others were discharged from the hospitals after they recovered from the disease. Three patients were also discharged from RIMS on June 5.

A state government communication stated that 6,198 people are in government quarantine while 11,958 people are in community quarantine.

A total of 5,652 people have completed quarantine in government centre and 5,927 in community centre.

So far, 14,629 tests have been conducted out of which 132 turned out positive.
