Nagaland on June 12 registered the highest single-day rise in COVID-19 cases with 26 fresh positive reports, taking the total number of affected persons in the state to 156.

State Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom informed that 23 out of 26 new cases were from Dimapur quarantine centers, while there were two cases from Kohima and one case reported from Peren district.

As many as 30 patients recovered from the disease in the state on June 11.

The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 126.
