Six COVID-19 cases came to light from Nagaland on June 2.

Nagaland Health and Family Welfare minister S Pangnyu Phom informed that all the new cases were detected from Dimapur.

“Out of 90 samples tested from Chennai returnees, five male and one female has tested COVID-19 positive. All cases are from Dimapur,” the minister tweeted.

With the detection of the new cases, the total number of positive cases in the state went up to 49.
