A teenager killed herself in Nalbari district of Assam on June 16, a few minutes after uploading a video on video-sharing application TikTok about her intentions to take her own life.
The girl filmed herself on the app just before jumping in front of a train. The video had visuals of the approaching train which claimed her life moments later.
Her body was later spotted by locals and police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigation.
A neighbor of the girl claimed before local media that the girl’s boyfriend had killed himself on June 15, and she had taken the same step on June 16.
