Nagaland on July 27 reported 45 new COVID-19 positive cases.

Health and Family Welfare minister S Pangnyu Phom informed that out of 335 suspected COVID-19 tests, the state recorded 45 new cases.

The new cases included 23 from Kohima, 14 from Dimapur and 8 from Mon district.

With the detection of the fresh cases, the total number of reported cases in the state went up to 1384 while 831 of them are active cases.

As many as 549 persons recovered from the disease in the state. The state reported four suspected COVID-19 death cases.
