Seventy-four more people have tested positive for COVID-19 while 154 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus in Arunachal Pradesh on July 30.

Of the 74 new cases, 21 were reported from Itanagar Capital Complex, 17 from Changlang, 10 from Lower Subansiri, nine from Namsai, seven from Tawang , four from Papum Pare and one each from East Kameng, East Siang, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley, Siang and Tirap districts, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services(DHS).

Out of the 150 discharged, 85 were from Itanagar Capital Complex, 25 from Namsai, 10 from Tawang, seven from Upper Siang, four from Anjaw, three each from West Siang and Changlang, two from West Kameng and one from Siang.

All the 21 cases from Itanagar Capital Complex were reported from various areas.

Among the 17 cases from Changlang, one is Assam Rifles personnel and one is a CRPF personnel. All the cases from Tawang are working under BRTF, detected in quarantine facility.

As per the bulletin issued by the DHS, 67 among 74 new cases are symptomatic while seven symptomatic.

Arunachal Pradesh recorded 1484 COVID-19 cases so far. Out of these, active cases in the state stands at 827, discharged 654 and three deaths.
