Arunachal COVID-19 case tally mounts to 7,250

Novel Coronavirus disease tally in Arunachal Pradesh went up to 7,250 on September 19 with 211 more people testing positive for the infection.

On September 19, 140 patients were discharged from the COVID care centres, taking the total recoveries to 5,280 in the state. With this, 72.82 per cent of the total patients recovered from the disease in the state.

Of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) reported the highest at 101, followed by 19 in Changlang and 18 in Papum Pare districts as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS) late night on September 19.

Barring 27, all the patients are asymptomatic.

According to the bulletin, of the 140 discharged, highest were from Tirap at 38, followed by 36 from ICC and 17 from East Siang districts.

Arunachal Pradesh recorded 13 fatalities so far. Active cases in the state stands at 1,957.
