Five persons died of COVID-19 in Manipur on October 20 while 284 new cases were detected increasing the total tally to 16,062.
In the past 24 hours, 277 persons from general population and seven personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases.
The total number of discharged persons was 146. The cumulative number of positive cases was 16,062. The number of recovered cases was 12,059 while 3882 active cases were there in the state on October 20.
