Expressing his gratitude to Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Khandu said: “This new KV will prove to be a great boon for people living in the border.”

The Union minister through a tweet informed on November 2 that an order for opening of Kendriya Vidyalaya at Hayuliang in Anjaw district was issued by his ministry.

Hayuliang is located northeast of Tezu town in eastern Arunachal Pradesh. The nearest railway station – Tinsukia in Assam – is around 235 km from Hayuliang.
