SBI General Insurance has announced a helpline for their customers in Assam who are affected by the recent series of earthquakes that rocked the Northeast region.

The general insurance company, recently announced that it has put a foot forward for its customers affected by the earthquake in Dhekiajuli, Sonitpur in Assam.

The company said customers can intimate and register claims through various methods, including calling at the company’s toll-free number 18001021111 or through a simple SMS. The company further stated that customers can also reach out to them through email.

“SBI General Insurance will be processing the claims on a fast-track mode for their customers who are affected by this natural catastrophe. The key objective is to get customers back on their feet as soon as possible,” the company statement said.

“The team at SBI General has already set the standard operating process in motion and has set a taskforce to manage queries and claims on fast-track mode,” the company added.
