Leading online selling platform for small businesses, Instamojo, has announced the Northeast Launchpad, a platform for all the aspiring entrepreneurs of the Northeast region who are constantly working to achieve their dreams.
Northeast Launchpad, powered by Guwahati-based digital media organization EastMojo, is the ‘biggest online B-plan event’ of the region.
The B-Plan competition is designed to give the entrepreneurs a real-world experience to fine-tune their business goals. “If you were thinking about building your ecommerce venture or a food delivery venture, the event will help you realize your dreams. Win Rs 50,000 in cash grant and up to Rs 10 lakh in benefits,” stated a release from the company.
Through the programme, the selected entrepreneurs will be guided by some of top leaders from the online selling industry, marketing, compliance and funding. These leaders will help the entrepreneurs sharpen their elevator pitches to generate funding successfully and commercialize their product.
Registration for the Northeast Launchpad has already begun and will continue till August 5. The top-10 submissions will be shortlisted on August 10 while announcement of ‘East Social Star’ will be made on August 15. Online business plan pitch of top-10 will be on August 21.
Northeast Launchpad: Rs 50,000 cash award for winner
From the top-10, one winner will get a cash grant of Rs 50,000 along with Instamojo premium store for one year. Among other benefits for the winner include DIFM features, 5000 mojoPlus points, PR coverage, free business/GST registration, free marketing training, direct entry to AIC-SMUTBI incubation programme with benefits upto Rs 10 lakh.
The ‘East Social Star’ will get benefits that includes a digital printable certificate, feature on Instamojo landing pages, story features, social media mentions, newsletter shoutouts etc.
Northeast Launchpad will also periodically host webinars to fine-tune the contestant’s pitches and business acumen.
The event has LegalWiz.in as the compliance partner, Upgrowth and Deasra as the marketing partners and AIC SMUTBI as the incubation partner.
