Bollywood veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away in Mumbai on July 7 due to age-related illness, his family has confirmed. He was 98.
Kumar died at the Hinduja Hospital where had been admitted for breathing issues.
Dilip Kumar was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Hinduja Hospital, Khar, on June 29, after reportedly complaining of breathlessness.
Kumar’s family friend Faisal Farooqui tweeted through the actor’s handle– “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return.”
