Police on December 22 arrested one person along with Yaba tablets worth over Rs 2.7 crore at Nongstoin in West Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya.
Acting on inputs, a naka was strategically placed at Urkaliar junction, Nongstoin, which resulted in the arrest of one Mukta Der Rehman, a resident of Phulbari Shyamding, from a vehicle, police said.
From his possession, 45 packets of suspected Yaba tablets whose market value is around Rs 2.7 crore, has been seized.
Necessary formalities are being completed and appropriate sections of NDPS act will be charged against the accused, the police added.
