The district administration of East Khasi Hills on January 10 decided to allow IMFL shops to operate from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm “sharp” in view of the onset of the third wave of COVID-19.
The order issued by the district magistrate Isawanda Laloo said all IMFL off retail outlets shall operate six days weekly from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm sharp.
It said all HDL licensees shall operate from 10 am to 9 pm, all IMFL on the retail outlet from 12 pm to 9 pm, bonded warehouses from 10 am to 6 pm, canteens from 10 am to 8 pm and out stills from 10 am to 8 pm.
