A state-of-the-art dermatology, aesthetics and hair transplantation clinic called Skin Square was inaugurated at Christian Basti in Guwahati recently.

Speaking about the clinic, Dr Pankaj Adhikari, head of the department of dermatology at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital said: “It is a moment of pride to have such a private skin clinic set up in Guwahati to look into the needs of the people. This will save a lot of people time and money from going to other metro cities to avail advanced dermatology surgeries, aesthetics and hair transplantation.”

The clinic has the latest technologies in lasers including VEGA – one of the world’s finest and first dual wave length Laser Hair reduction technology from Israel that is painless and suitable for all skin types. The clinic also has other advanced laser devices including Q switched Nd:YAG laser for tattoo and pigmentation; CO2 laser for scars; Hydrafacial and Oxyfacial for aesthetic concerns and rejuvenation among others.

Ashok Kumar Singhi, chairman of Assam Government Marketing Corporation Ltd. (AGMC) who was also present at the launch, said: “With the setting up of this skin clinic having multiple qualified dermatologists, I am sure many will be benefitted. People from across Northeast come to Guwahati for better health treatment, now they can avail advance treatments for their skin and hair as well.”
