Assam’s largest dairy cooperative, Purabi Dairy, celebrated the nation’s 73rd Republic Day on January 26 with patriotic fervour along with the rest of the nation.
The day was marked with unfurling of the National Tricolour at the Purabi Dairy plant and office in Guwahati. It was followed by the National Anthem.
The Guwahati-based dairy cooperative has recently shared information about sale of more than 1.25 lakh litres of milk per day during the Magh Bihu celebrations in Assam.
It recently started construction of a new plant in Guwahati which will enable the dairy cooperative to introduce new products – including traditional sweets in the local market.
