Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb said that BJP wants to win all the 60 seats when the state goes to polls in 2023.

Addressing a public rally in South Tripura, Deb said: “…our goal is to win 60 out of 60. People in the state are happy with the multifaceted development of the state. We have full respect for public expectations.”

The public rally was organized by the Rishyamukh Mandal on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the government in the state.

“Freed from the negative mentality, a significant increase in the budget is now being implemented for the benefit of the citizens of all sections including women empowerment,” Deb said.

“All the schemes including 2.35 lakh houses for poor people are being implemented successfully under the present government, rising above all narrowness to get rid of the badge of backward state and one-party system.”

Later, the chief minister also flagged off five ambulances equipped with modern health facilities in South Tripura.

This was the second consecutive month that the Tripura government has deployed ambulances equipped with modern health facilities on the ground, last month also 16 ambulances were flagged off, Deb said. (FD)
