Manipur Police, in its ongoing intensified crackdown on vehicle lifters, arrested one more alleged lifter and recovered three four-wheelers and one two-wheeler on May 8.
The arrested alleged vehicle lifter was identified as Sawmlian of Churachandpur district. He was also allegedly involved in making fake registration certificate (RC) and re-registration of stolen vehicles.
A Tata Xenon, one Renault Duster, a Gypsy and one Honda Activa were recovered from his possession, the police said.
A team of Bishnupur district police arrested the accused from his house on May 8.
Earlier, the police had raided his house and recovered various incriminating items like PVC cards, laptop, printer, lamination machine etc.
