Union minister meets Nagaland CM, discusses schemes of minority affairs ministry

Union minister of state for minority affairs, John Barla called on Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio on May 7 and held a detailed discussion on the ongoing projects and schemes which are implemented under his ministry.

John Barla informed about the new guidelines of Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram brought out by the ministry of minority affairs, wherein the tribal people in all the districts in Nagaland will be covered under the ministry.

The minister then assured that all possible help will be extended to fulfil the “developmental aspirations” of Nagaland which will include sectors like health, education, skill development, sports, women empowerment, rural development, sanitation, etc.
