The 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs have been exciting throughout the first week and the odds continue to constantly change the game in and game out. There are some teams right now that are under immense pressure to get the job done, while some are playing with house money in their respective series.

Sports news is currently out and talking about the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Each and every game matters at this time of year in the NHL. What are the updated odds to win the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup title?

Colorado Avalanche +250

The Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup title odds have risen throughout the first few days of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Colorado looks like the best team right now and they are the only team that could potentially sweep the first-round series. The Avalanche has made the Nashville Predators look like a minor league hockey team.

Colorado is loaded with so much talent on this roster. Gabriel Landeskog, Cale Makar, Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen, Nazem Kadri, Devon Toews, Samuel Girard, and others. Darcy Kuemper is the goalie of this hockey team and Pavel Francouz is the backup goalie of this hockey team.

Jared Bednar is the head coach of the Colorado Avalanche. The biggest hurdle for this hockey team at this point will be getting past the second round of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. They have not been to the Western Conference Finals since 2002 against the Detroit Red Wings. Colorado last won it all in 2001 against the New Jersey Devils in seven games.

Florida Panthers +650

For now, the Florida Panthers have the second-best odds to win the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup title. Florida is currently in the midst of a dog fight with the Washington Capitals.

The Panthers will never live it down if they lose this series. They won the Presidents’ Trophy during the regular season. If Florida loses this series, long live the curse.

The last time a team won the Stanley Cup title-winning the Presidents’ Trophy during the regular season was the 2013 Chicago Blackhawks. Florida doesn’t like to play a physical brand of hockey and they just expect to win games 6-4 every single night. That is not going to cut it in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Head coach Andrew Brunette is going to switch from goalie Sergei Bobrovsky to Spencer Knight. Aleksander Barkov, Jonathan Huberdeau, and the other offensive players on this roster need to be better and so does the blueline if they want to win it all.

Calgary Flames, Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Carolina Hurricanes +1000

These four hockey teams have the third-best odds to win the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup title. Vegas is telling you that these four hockey teams are neck-and-neck with each other.

The Calgary Flames are currently on upset alert against the Dallas Stars. Calgary is struggling to score goals and Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau have gone missing in this series.

The Flames are lucky that goalie Jacob Markstrom has shown up though. Head coach Daryl Sutter can’t be pleased so far and they need to turn on the switch in a hurry.

The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Toronto Maple Leafs are currently playing each other in a best-of-seven series and both of these hockey teams have traded blowout punches throughout the first four games of the series. It is very possible that this series faces a Game 7. It would be so drama-filled.

Tampa Bay has won the last two Stanley Cup titles, but they appeared to be fatigued. The only way they don’t show fatigue is when head coach Jon Cooper motivates them through the media. Captain Steven Stamkos is one of the best in the business and so is goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy.

Toronto has a very lethal offense led by Auston Matthews and Mitchell Marner. Their role players will fail them and so will their defense. Jack Campbell is the starting goalie  Sheldon Keefe is the head coach of this hockey team and they are looking to win their first playoff series since 2004.
