Assam Rifles organises Hepatitis awareness camp at Noklak in Nagaland

On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day, Shamator Noklak Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 7 Sector Assam Rifles/ HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) conducted awareness on hepatitis at Assam Rifles conference hall at Noklak in Nagaland.

The awareness camp was organized in coordination with Holy Angels High School, Noklak town of Nagaland on July 28.

Awareness lecture was presented Dr Jacob Lalmalsom, chief medical officer, 14 Assam Rifles.

The CMO addressed the students and staff of school and educated them about types of hepatitis, mode of transmission, their signs and symptoms and complications.

The medical officer also laid emphasis on the preventive and precautionary measures on hepatitis, including the vitality of timely vaccination.

Shiju, assistant headmaster of Holy Angels High School, Noklak and all teachers and students conveyed their gratitude to 14 Assam Rifles for the awareness camp on hepatitis.
