East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh has been honoured with a gold medal under the prestigious SKOCH Award for its ‘Atma Nirbhar East Kameng’ initiative under the ‘district governance’ category for the year 2022.
“Honoured to receive SKOCH GOLD AWARD for District Governance at the national level for SHG & farm interventions taken up under “Atmanirbhar East Kameng” initiative. We secured this award out of 1088 entries and this is the 1st ever Gold from #ArunachalPradesh,” DC East Kameng tweeted on August 18.

Meanwhile, chief minister Pema Khandu congratulated the team for bagging the coveted award. Pema Khandu also encouraged them to keep up the spirit and wished for future endeavours.
