All eyes were glued to the television set in Manipur during prime minister Narendra Modi’s interaction programme with students on January 27.

The event was witnessed with excitement and pride as Brahmacharimayum Nistha, a class XI student of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Imphal (Lamphelpat), was anchoring the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023’ programme at the Talkatora stadium in Delhi.

Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Imphal also saw the event by erecting a special stage at the school.

Governor La Ganesan, chief minister N Biren Singh also attended the event in various schools. Ganesan joined the interaction programme with students at Tamphasana Girls Higher Secondary School.

After watching the session, speaking to the students, the governor said that the whole idea of the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha‘ is to respect the examination.

He said examination is an important phase in a student’s life. Everybody cannot be masters of all subjects, but students should try to excel in whatever they read and with confidence, they should face the examinations. Ganesan wished the students a grand success in their examinations.

Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh attended the programme with students at Srivan Higher Secondary School, Luwangshangbam in Imphal East.
