One of Northeast India’s largest 5-star hotels, Radisson Blu, has become the home-away-from-home of top cricketers as it hosts Rajasthan Royals for their upcoming two Indian Premiere League (IPL) matches in Guwahati.
The Assam Cricket Association Stadium at Barsapara in Guwahati will host two of the home IPL matches of Rajasthan Royals on April 5 and April 8.
Straight from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI), the Rajasthan Royals cricket team members were taken to Radisson Blu Hotel, where a number of fans gathered to have a glimpse of their favourite stars.
At Radisson Blu Guwahati the players and the official team members were welcomed with a traditional Assamese ‘Eri Shwal’ after their arrival at the hotel.
Restaurants at Radisson Blu offer options for quick meals, fine dining, and informal get together. Guests may indulge in a variety of authentic pan-Asian dishes, Indian and Mediterranean dishes, while the hotel also serves several other international cuisines along with an extensive menu.
The hotel is also well-equipped with pool, gym and other top-class facilities.
Being the region’s one of the biggest five-star properties, Radisson Blu has also been home to the Indian cricket team and visiting foreign teams during their matches in Guwahati. Radisson Blu Guwahati also hosted several ISL teams who come to Guwahati to compete at the Indian Super League (ISL).
