Nineteen students of Aakash BYJU’S Guwahati have secured impressive results in NEET UG examination 2023. The results of the same were declared by NTA on June 14.
Raheel Barbaruah of Guwahati, who scored 691 out of 720 total marks, got all India ranking of 638 while Arnav Saikia obtained 685 marks with 1136 rank.
Officials at the Panbazar branch of the institute said that out of 1500 students who appeared in the NEET UG examination 2023, around 1200 cleared the examination.
The students joined Aakash BYJU’S in a two-year classroom programme to crack NEET. On June 15, the students assembled at the institute and celebrated their success. They attributed their entry into the elite list of top percentiles in NEET to their efforts in understanding the concepts and their strict adherence to their learning schedule. “We are grateful that Aakash has helped us with both,” the students said.
Congratulating the students, Abhishek Maheshwari, CEO, Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), in a statement said: “We congratulate the students for their exemplary feat. Their achievement speaks volumes of his hard work and dedication. The credit goes to the efforts put in by the student, proper guidance by the faculty and as well as the quality test preparation imparted at the institute. I would also like to extend our gratitude to the parents for being a constant support to their children. I wish both the students all the best for their future endeavours.”
Nationally, as many as 1,06,870 students of Aakash BYJU’S qualified NEET 2023.
NEET is conducted annually by National Testing Agency as a qualifying test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India and also, for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad.
Over 20 lakh students appeared for NEET 2023 from across the country.
