“The addition of the new hotel in strengthens the vision to become the largest hospitality infrastructure player in the region. To translate the vision into reality, the group is enthusiastic about broadening its presence across all eight states of Northeast India with a substantial investment of Rs 500 crore over the next 10 years,” the statement said.
Announcing the launch, Himanshu Kalita, managing director at The Greenwood Group, said: “Our expansion into the business hotel segment marks an exciting phase for us. Built at a cost of Rs 100 crore, the new hotel is equipped with 48 luxury rooms, meeting facilities, gymnasium, spa, and a swimming pool. It also features experiential dining, a jazz and karaoke bar, and a poolside Patio café.
