As the country is set to witness the grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak asserted on Wednesday that the people of Ayodhya are all set to welcome the ‘Ram Bhakts’ and that all parameters for security have been decided.
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple will be held on January 22.
Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. A priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will perform the main rituals of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22. From January 14 to January 22, Ayodhya will mark the Amrit Mahotsav.
UP Deputy CM Pathak said, “I am happy to tell you that Ayodhya Dham is all set to welcome Ram bhakts who will be here for the darshan of Ram Lalla…All parameters for security have been decided and everything is set. There is no problem anywhere.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla at the grand temple on January 22.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his first visit of the year 2024 to Ayodhya on Tuesday, directed officials to implement the ‘Kumbh model of cleanliness’ in Ayodhya and ensure that the ‘Ramnagari’ must appear as the cleanest and most beautiful city.
“Dust should not be visible on the roads, and toilets must be cleaned daily,” he said.
The Chief Minister conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing development projects and expressed concern for the well-being of the saints and sages. His visit also included a trip to Kuber Tila, where he paid homage to Jatayu.
Regarding the ongoing development projects, CM Yogi gave clear instructions to the concerned officials that they needed to execute the tasks maintaining high quality and within the specified timeframe because following January 22, a significant surge in the number of devotees and tourists was expected.
The Chief Minister made it clear that any form of negligence would not be tolerated under any circumstances. During the tour of the Tent City developed by the Trust was also inspected.
