Four persons died due to COVID-19 while 237 new positive cases were detected on October 13 in Manipur.
In the past 24 hours, 230 persons from general population and 7 personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new COVID-I9 positive cases. Eight persons among them were returnees while the rest were without any significant travel history. They were being shifted to COVID Care facilities. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing were in place.
In the last 24 hours, 4 persons died because of COVID-19 in the state. The cumulative number of deaths is 97.
The total number of discharged persons was 122.
