The third edition of North-East Foodtech-2022, a trade exhibition for food and hospitality industry in Northeast India, is back again in Guwahati from May 13-15.
The 3rd North-East Foodtech is organized by Kolkata Foodtech in collaboration with the All Assam Restaurant Association and The Hotel & Restaurant Association of Assam at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre on May 13-15.
Announcing the trade exhibition, the organizers on May 10 said that it will showcase around 90 reputed companies from all over India who will take part in the three-day exhibition.
“About 90 reputed companies from all over India will display their products/services for three days in the vibrant platform. This exposition will focus the state of Assam as a right destination for the investment in food processing and hospitality sector. As we all are aware that COVID-19 has taught us how important are the food safety and hygiene is. Food packaging plays a pivotal role in the line of food hygiene. The 3rd North East Foodtech will bring a bunch of innovative ideas in the field of food preparation & packaging,” said Zakir Hossain, chief convener of North-East Foodtech.
Speaking to the Gauhati Press Club, All Assam Restaurant Association general secretary, Manjita Chowdhury, said that the trade exhibition will help the growing food business industry in the region as they will get to witness some of the most-innovative options in food processing, packaging and other technology. “We welcome the initiative as this will help all of us in understanding newer technologies in the food sector. This exhibition could be a great help for entrepreneurs who want to start in the food and hospitality industry,” she added.
A wide range of processed food & beverages, food packaging technology, bakery & confectionery equipment, hospitality industry products, food display system, sweet & snacks making technology, food additives & ingredients, food flavors & decorative products, food & hospitality industry IT solutions will be displayed in this platform.
The organizers believe that 3rd North-East Foodtech is an ideal platform for bakers, confectioners, hotelier, restaurateur, food processor, sweetmeat, banquet & other food business to increase their awareness about the new innovation in food & hospitality sector.
