Indian Railways has decided to run a special train between Secunderabad and Agartala this November to clear extra rush of passengers.

The train will run for three trips from each direction for the benefit of passengers, a statement from NF Railway said.

The special train no. 07030 Secunderabad – Agartala special will run for three trips – on November 8, 15 and 22 (Monday) leaving from Secunderabad at 4:35 pm to reach Agartala at 3 am on Thursday.

In the return direction, train no. 07029 Agartala – Secunderabad special will run for three trips – on November 12, 19 and 26 (Friday) leaving from Agartala at 6:10 am to reach Secunderabad at 2:50 pm on Sunday.

The train will run via Mathabhanga and Goalpara town and will have stoppages at Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, New Bongaigaon, Kamakhya, Guwahati, New Haflong, Badarpur junction, New Karimganj, Dharmanagar and Ambasa stations over NF Railway during its both way journey.

It will have AC-2 tier, AC-3 tier, sleeper class and general second-class coaches apart from luggage vans.

NF Railway has already run special trains from Dibrugarh, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Jogbani, Kishanganj etc. to places like Puri, Kanyakumari, New Delhi, Jammu Tawi, Udaipur etc. to clear extra rush of passengers during festive season.

Passengers are requested to observe the COVID-19 related safety measures and instructions of their respective states during journey, the statement added.
